This lovely Lakeside community (Chautauqua Point) is located within the Town of Chautauqua. The area known as Point Chautauqua was created in 1875 by famed landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted. Known for developing Central Park, Olmsted's Point Chautauqua is a striking contrast from the Chautauqua Institution across the lake, with curving streets and gently sloping landscapes connecting the entire community to the lake and allowing for wonderful natural breezes and an open environment.
Dewittville also features the Chautauqua Point Golf Course, the Villas development, and Chautauqua Lake Estates Condominiums, as well as the YMCA Camp Onyahsa.
